National Comprehensive HIV Prevention care & treatment Training [TOT]

Course Overview


  • Course is intended to equip participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to provided comprehensive HIV care to children and adults infected with HIV.

    This 14 days course is intended to deliver adult learning principles to participants so that they can be effective trainers in Consolidated HIV Care Training.
    Course objectives: By the end of this course participants will be able to
    -Understand the concept of adult learning principles
    -Apply adult learning principles in delivering consolidated HIV care training
    Course delivery format
    The course is delivered by modular type of training using a variety of teaching methodologies. It also includes teach back sessions where participants practice delivering training sessions using adult learning principles.
